Hi,

An Adobe white paper on Flex 2 makes this sweeping statement:

“Flex applications can deliver a rich user interface for back-end systems implemented on Microsoft’s .NET platform.”

I have seen some threads on Adobe tools and DNN. It seems there are some nuances and difficulties surprise, surprise. Can anyone explain how Flex might work with a .NET web portal application framework like DNN? What impact do you think Atlas/AJAX will have? If you can use rich internet application (RIA) technology with DNN is it a steep learning curve? Any input from folks with experience in this area would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

GM

Well, Dreamweaver doesn't really integrate well with .NET even though it claims to fully support it. Therefore, hearing about another Adobe product that claims the same thing doesn't get me excited.

I've actually lost a lot of time trying to open aspx pages in VS.NET that Dreamweaver mangled and made useless. I don't even think they released a bug fix before Adobe bought them out.
