As discussed in this other thread, my site log is still not working.
It displays:
"Your Hosting Provider Has Disabled the Site Log History Feature For Your Portal."

I set the days under host settings in the site settings, and set it under Advanced -> Other in the host settings.
I cleared the cache, and also waited. It still doesn't work.

Does ANYONE know what could be causing this?

Depends what logs you're looking for.

They won't appear for until someone actually hits the site - eg.. how long have you had them set for.  Have you checked every one and not just the top one which is normally empty unless you have some affiliate things happening?

So you'll find that some are always empty - Have you checked the Detailed Site log?  And have you checked your error logs.

Under the site admin, "Site Log" is where I get the message.
The logging has been set up on several sites, for some time, and the sites are getting traffic (I know because I'm also using goan).

I cannot check every one, as it says "Your Hosting Provider Has Disabled the Site Log History Feature For Your Portal.", and has no "Continue" or "Update" button.

There are no errors in the log viewer (Admin "Log Viewer").

Have you looked in the database directly?

I had a site that had weird logging errors when trying to view them, wouldn't display anything.  It turned out to be a database collation issue causing a DB error.   I had to modify a couple of the core stored procs to address it.

I've found that if the log storage type is set to "file system", DNN might have problems related to file permissions.  Since i'm not familiar with the XML logging (specifically where the log files go), and don't feel like giving DNN the ability to overwrite itself :), i switched the type to "database"....and doing so made the issue go away.

The setting for log storage type is in host settings, in "Advanced Settings" / "Other Settings".  In my version (3.2.2), it's the second setting in that section.
