We had issues with our sql server this morning, and the error page that came up stating something to the fact that the sql server could not be connected to displayed the db name and the username for that db on the public page for the error.
Is there someway a person could change those error messages?  That should not be displayed in my opinion.

Are you sure you did not have custom errors turned off to produce this behaviour?

No, I am not sure about that.  I will check custom error messages.

Custom Error messages are set to "RemoteOnly".

That issue only existing briefly for one or two versions (i think perhaps only 3.10), and only if you have the connectionstring set in a particular fashion (AFAIR we asterisked out the final parameter assuming it was the PWD, when it's not always). I'd recommend you upgrade to a more recent version. Alternatively, you can comment out the " response.Write("<tr><td><b>Connection String</b></td><td><b>" & _connectionString & "</b></td></tr>")" line in components/shared/htmlutils.vb
