I can't see how to set the date settings for a user. (I'm using DNN 4.03.03). I want users to be able to have dates in the format that pleases them.

The webSecureStores server I'm using is based in the USA, so the server is set to the (ass-backwards) US date format of mm/dd/yyyy. As a result all of the modules that reference a data value (eg. Calendar, Blogs, etc) return the date in the American format. This will cause chaos for my users whenever the day value is less than 12 (ie August 1st will read as 8/1/06, which my users will read as 8th Jan).

I'd rather have the international standard date format of dd/mm/yyyy, and if in the event we acquire American users, then despite the fact that they're American, I'd still like them to have the option of seeing the date in their ridiculous, nonsensical American manner (not that I'm biased)

How can I achieve this?

There may be another way, but I managed to sort out the same problem on my web site by going into the Langauges page and adding a locale for "Australian English" (en-AU).  Then I set that as the default locale.  Users who want to see dates in a US format can choose en-US as their locale (in user settings).
