I have upgraded to DNN 4.3.3 and I feel that the registration process has become very troubling.  I no longer can ask for the address, web site, IM or any other information that was available before.  By default, the email message sent to the Admin is missed up.  I was wondering If I'm missing something, could someone comment on this please.

You should really play a little with all new functionality. If you check "Require a valid Profile for Registration" it will ask for all the settings you have defined. The new profiles in DNN 4.3.x are a major improvement!

Thanks Mariette, This is exactly what I needed.   I will be playing with it for the next hour or two.  Thanks again.

I always install new versions on my sandbox so that I can do stupid things with it. Make mistakes and learn from them...but don't do that on a production server.

I probably have 4 installations of every DNN release that was made available for download and I know exactly what you mean by using the development machine for testing.  The problem I’m having is that I use DNN as a framework for many custom modules that I have developed for my customer.  Most of my time is spent to make those custom modules (10-15 modules) work with the new upgrade and that is causing me to spend less time trying to understand all new features in DNN.  Of course, this is my problem and I have to work on it.

I think it will be a nice idea if DotNetnuke.com publishes one tip a day about DNN on their web site, so those of us who visit the web site 5-10 times a day have another way of obtaining more knowledge about the DNN framework.
