My client server was hacked by the Kuwait Hacker but he did not affect any of the DNN sites - has anyone had a DNN site attacked by this hacker as yet?

does he use any modules from www.dnn-modules.com (on any portal on that server), that has not been updated to the latest version?

all of my clients actually still use dnn2 and any modules that allow input have javascript filtering added to them- so none of the current dnn module security risks relate to them. The front end of the server does not use DNN at all - this hacker appears to be quite busy at the moment - I was just wondering if any out there with DNN sites have had an attacks from him.

FYI: the majority of webserver hacks rely on missing patches or poor configuration. Typically exploits utilising these are built into automated packages that are then used to scan for vulnerable hosts (often by what is termed a script-kiddie). When a server is exploited most of them time it is a server level issue such as this, rather than any individual webapplication at fault. Without further details e.g. the url's or/and the defaced page(s), I cannot give any better information.
