Hey

I'm a new to DotNetNuke, so today I went to a local store and bought the book "Professional DotNetNuke ASP.NET Portals". I want to learn about version 4.x of DotNetNuke and thought this book covered it, I didn't see any newer book in the store.  Now I've learned there is a book named "Professional DotNetNuke 4".

If I want to learn more about DotNetNuke version 4.x, is it a good idea of me to continue to read in the book I bought or should I get a newer book or can I combine readings in my book with readings in the DotNetNuke documentation?

The books are a good way to learn DNN - I read the portals book and plan to purchase the latest.  You can combine much of what you learn from those books.

Any other suggestions for reading materials related to DotNetNuke? There are quite a few out there. I'm hoping some of you have advice. Do you like the Wrox version? I've used their books before...

Thanks!

This isn't exactly reading material but there are some videos floating around that cover dotnetnuke 3 module development. I found them useful and I was able to later figure out how to make a DNN4 module after watching the DNN3 videos. There where definately differences I had to figure out on the way but as a developer the videos where definetly helpful. I wish I still had link to videos.
