This morning I posted a couple messages to the forums and it does not look like they ever posted, I see many messages posted after by others but the two or three messages I posted are not to be found.

Just looking for the messages and posting this message has taken 45 minutes as the site keeps hanging or bombing with ASP.NET errors.

So, I guess the question would be, are these forums really usable at this point?  I understand dogfooding to work the bugs out but it appears this is taking a great deal of time.  I thought I would post a message on the ASP.NET forums in case anyone was still around there and found that they do nothing but refer back here..

Maybe it would be best to have at least one board that is not dependant on this buggy forums module to allow everyone to communicate "while" things are being fixed (where it takes days to weeks to get fixed)?

please notice, that all posts of novice forum members are moderated and though the moderators are spread all over the world (and many time zones) it might occur, especially on weekends, that moderation take some time. Please remember, that this is done by volunteers.

Cheers from Germany,

Sorry, was not aware that it can take over a day to get messages posted.  What does a person have to do to post without moderation?  Promise first born? House up for collateral?  Beg really hard?  Post 10,000 messages in two day? :)

theres a known bug in the forums at the minute, where sometimes messages are not available in the moderation queue, until another message is posted to the queue. This has only been discovered, and is the reason why some posts have not been released in a few minutes as per usual.

I've unmoderated you as I recognise your alias from the asp.net forums
