i'm not sure what happened to your post, i don't see anything in the queue from you. There is a minor bug in the current version of the forums where posts can be in the queue, but not visible until another post enters the queue, but there were posts in that forum queue, and yours wasn't there.

We do have a few dozen people with moderator access, so there are periods when posts are moderated more quickly than others, but the queue is checked regularly at all times (I check 3-4 times a day personally).

The forum is moderated to make sure we don't suffer from spam/advertisements , and to ensure that posts go to the correct forums e.g. I delete a few posts every day and frequently move posts from the 'announce it' queue to a more approriate forum. We also unmoderate users after quite a low number of posts, so keep posting and you'll be unmoderated soon.

I have the same problem. I posted a question in this forum 12 hours ago and it hasn't
appeared yet. How can a community grow with such a slow response time?

Ok Cathal,
Thanks for letting me know the situation.
I'll keep posting until I'm unmoderated so...

My posts appear to have come through on the thread now anyway...

You appear to be a core team member... so you think you could maybe take a look at my post  and see if you could shed some light on this funny little install problem I'm having?

I've installed DNN4 using a sql server 2995 database.. set up virtual dirsin IIS on my local madhine... and cannot log into the site from another machine on the same network..
My thread is here: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/tabid/795/forumid/107/threadid/75473/threadpage/2/scope/posts/Default.aspx

Thanks

Vida
