Our company has a DNN 2.1.2 site running on Win2003 Server. One of our pages currently contains approximately 30 links (utilizing the Links module) to training videos that we have created for our applications. The videos are created using Camtasia, and are exported to Flash videos (swf). Four files are generated for each video - an HTML file, an XML file, and two SWF files (one for controls). These files are then uploaded over the network to the \Portals\0\ directory, then synched in DNN. Once that has been done, we create a new link and point it to the HTML file for that video. Click on the link, and voila...the video immediately begins to play.

I recently set up a dev environment for testing the upgrade to 3.3.5. After a couple of glitches, I *thought* I had successfully upgraded our environment from 2.1.2 to 3.3.5. That was until I tried to watch a training video. Now when I click on the video link, all I get is a white page that displays a box where the video should be. If I right-click the placeholder, I get a message that says "Movie not loaded...". The progress bar at the bottom of IE6 will eventually give the all green, but nothing ever happens. I have waited more than an hour for something to happen, but the video never shows. This is a small 2MB video, so it's not like it's taking a long time to load.

If I link to the main SWF file, it will play, but I lose my controls (play, ff, rew, pause). I'm very curious to know what has changed since 2.1.2 that would not allow this to work. I've read through a few threads, and am beginning to suspect that it has to do with the paths to the associated files. The HTML file calls the three other files that reside in the same directory.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Linque
