I recently signed my company up with PowerDNN to host our intranet and corporate website, and would like to share my experiences with them so far.

I made my decision to use them after talking with Tony several times. I'm a newbie when it comes to DNN (and developing dynamic websites in general). Tony is VERY knowledgeable about DNN and was able to answer all my questions. We signed up for their basic dedicated server package. Its definitely not the cheapest way to go, but we have a rather large document library that will be ported over and we needed the space and the security.

When you sign up for their dedicated server package, they buy a brand new server from Dell just for you, which I thought was great. It took a bit longer than expected to get the server up and running due to a couple things, but it wasn't too bad. Once it was set up, everything has gone very smoothly. We tried another hosting company previous to this, and while their customer service was pretty good, our site is definitely faster at PowerDNN.

Since we bought a dedicated server package, I'm basically the server admin. I know absolutely nothing about server administration, but PowerDNN has done a good job in helping me get the server configured correctly and setting up DNN. The level of customer service has been great so far. I'm not one of those kind of people who will blindly support a company just because I paid for their services, so if anything about them ticks me off, I won't be afraid to voice my displeasure, but so far PowerDNN seems like a great DNN host.

If you want them to take care of nightly backups and all security audits/updates, it's another $100/month.
