I am building out some templates for the affiliate marketing industry. In case you are not familiar with this industry, affiliate marketers typically use third party packages to manage their mailing lists with optin/unsubscribe and autoresponder functionality. So on a landing page the affiliate marketer wants to put in a form where they collect the visitors firstname and email address. This then sends the visitor over to a Thank You page and puts that visitor in the marketers list and kicks off a sequence of autoresponder emails over days, weeks, months, etc.

So I am trying to figure out how to best allow affiliate marketers to use my DNN hosting service and let them put in the form code that their third party provider gives them. My first thought is to tell them to just setup an HTML page and use an IFrame anywhere on the site for the form.

As a side topic, I am seeing more and more of my customers try to just throw in Googles Search tool code in an HTML module and they don't even realize sometimes that it is not working and it typically breaks the skin. I have told them to use this IFrame approach as I am using it for Google Search and it seems to work.

Are there any other options? I guess I need to figure out more about how these third party services work and determine if a generic custom module can be developed to do this? I am a huge XMod fan and I guess there could be a way to use XMod and possibly XURL to accomplish this. Thanks for any ideas that may spark my imagination.
