Can someone tell me what the Roadmap is to introduce NET 3.0 and WPF and WCF to DotNetNuke?

Well, I haven't seen any public discussion on this. But I read that Net 3 is asp.net 2 + WPF/WCF so DNN "should" still be the leading asp.net application framework.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE DNN. I would just love to hear from the big boys what they envisage for the future, especially with the Presentation Foundation. But you are right, ASP.NET 2.0 is still the core for 3.0 and therefore DNN will be fine on 3.0. Thanks for your response.

I don't see how DNN can incorporate WPF as this is not web technology. It is windows only.

Theres nothing on the roadmap, though naturally we've looked at all the components to see if they can be leveraged to improve DotNetNuke. There are some limitations that make them difficult to use in an internet product i.e WWF and WCF both require full trust code access security, whereas we support medium trust, and as you mentioned WPF is currently windows only (though wpf/e should change that http://www.itwriting.com/wpfe.php ), but we may be able to still use aspects e.g. if we add a workflow provider, one of the implmentations could be WWF and we could add code to ensure that it has the necessary security context to work.
