I'm curious and trying to find out more information on the "Whats New" module in DNN.  Can someone give me some feedback on what tables this reads from or what stored procs or views this module uses inorder to display the new items in the portal.

I've written my own custom module that contains part information.  I would like the "Whats New" module to display newly added parts that are uploaded to the site.

Any help that anyone can provide would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,

-Scott Cline

I believe it uses the search tables... so for your module to appear in whats new, it has to implement the ISearchable interface... There's been very little mention of this module at all. I created a What's New module a couple years ago and then this one magically appeared as part of the core without anyone announcing it as far as I know.
