Hello,

What i have in mind is to make the Child Portal as Backend and the Parent Portal as Frontend. Backend is for my staff to login to update the required information which will then be updated into the Frontend. It also allows my staff to be able to do some adminstrative stuffs. After successful updating of the information, my staff is then able to click a link from the Backend and see the updated information without having to login to the Frontend again. The current DNN seems to be not able to use the account i created in the child portal to login/access to the parent portal.

I read the forum and found out that DNNMasters Multi Portal User Sharing and Portal Single Sign On can actually solve the user account problem. But, i only want a one directional user account login. What i mean is that i only want the user account from the Backend to be able to login/access to the Frontend and user account from the Frontend is not able to login/access the backend.

In summary, I hope to:

  1. Combine the user accounts from the parent portal and child portal into 1 and not having to register 2 times.
  2. Only the backend account is able to login/access to the frontend.
  3. Information updated from the backend is able to be shown in the frontend.
  4. Staff that have already login in the backend is able to access to the frontend without having to login again.

Basically, this is what i hope to do. Anyone of you have any idea? Can lend a helping hand? Thanks! :)
