Hi Friends

Can anybody help me to  how to create Own Template in dotnetnukes.

Are you talking about page templates, for when you add a new page to an existing site? Or are you talking about a template for a complete portal installation from scratch? Or (yes, there is a 3rd option) are you talking about a template for importing (via the Site Wizard) a "compete" portal into an existing portal?

It's hard to figure out where to begin. with DNN.

DNNCreative have a bunch of tutorials on their site. I recall that some of them are free and the rest come as a subscription. have a look here http://www.dnncreative.com/Tutorials/tabid/261/Default.aspx and see if the basic skinning ones are helpful to you.

... ok, I went and had a look to see what's there and he has a few pages of free videos here: http://www.dnncreative.com/Home/FreeContent/tabid/101/Default.aspx

Check through those and see how you do. A video (can't remember where i saw it) helped me when I started out here.

There is a skinning document in the downloads section of the DNN site. It might help a little, but don't be put off if it doesn't.

hi dagilleland -

i would like to know how to basically "dupe" a page and make a new one - just change the content. and... are skins and templates the same thing?
