I'm wondering if I can use DotNetNuke for:

- Create and maintain users and content (articles).
- The content (articles) should able to have one or more categories.
- Users should not be able to view all articles but should be able only to view articles with correct category permissions.

For example; users with permissions on the category "Cars" can only read and search on articles with the category "Cars".

The many to many relation is very import for me. I tried to use sharepoint for this job. I'm able to create directories and groups and assign users to multiple groups but I'm not able to use a way to assign documents to multiple categories.

Out of the box no, but it would be possible to configure multiple modules to do this.

We have a module called Engage: Publish that can be customized to do what you require. We actually developed that for a client but don't have it included in the current release version of Publish.

Great! Many thanks for your answer. Could you name other modules as well? I want to compare a couple of modules. And are you able to share your customized module Publish? Would be really great!

christoc, I have tryed to log in after register to Engage Moduls, but it seems impossible to log in. I have recieved a account, but Engage Moduls doesn't display any log in data nor my user name.

This happends me earlier today even at DotNetNuke.com, MS discussion groups and so on, and I haven't a clue whats happend or why.

Regards

I'm not sure what the issue is? Are you not able to see the Login link on www.engagemodules.com? or are you not able to login once you click the link? Since it happened on other sites, do you have any security settings that may be blocking logins?
