Is there a way to easily convert the registration module to a single column for skins that are not setup for such a wide area? Here is a demo of a skin that does not do well with the two-column approach.

http://www.dnnart.net/captivate/Home/tabid/547/ctl/Register/Default.aspx

It would be great to have an Admin setting that is 1 or 2 columns for the Registration Module. I know that a new Admin skin could be used without the left column, but in general it would be nice to be able to set the number of columns for the registration module to 1 or 2.

Thanks.

Hi Cliff. I don't know if you can do that with the dnn registration. We use the UCanUse Registration module, where you can easily set the registration to one column, see our website: http://www.feeco.com/CreateAnAccount/tabid/205/Default.aspx .

I also use UCanUse on some portals, but was hoping for a Core solution that does not require a third party module. It would be easy enough to have two ascx files, one with 1 column and one with 2 columns and use a radio button to select which one to use as the Admin. For now, I am just trying to create a separate Admin skin that does not have the left column.

OK, I was able to create an Admin skin without the left column. I thought that Privacy, Terms, User Registration, etc all took on the Admin skin when rendering, but they are not. Did this change or is my memory fading? When I go to site settings, the new Admin skin works well, but none of the other items are using it. The site I am working on is at http://eastefree.org.theforerunnernetwork.com for your review.
