Hello,

I would like to know the advantages & limitations of dotnetnuke before i go ahead & use it.

It would be of great help to me if any body expert in DNn can put some focus on the following:

1. Is it possible to add a custom usercontrol created using a google map component using dotnetnuke? If yes then How..

2.Is it possible to develop a SOA based arcitecture using DNN framework? if yes then How..

Thanks,

AP

1) Create a DNN modul and place your custom control on the module.

2) DNN does not support SOA for the core (it needs direct access to database).  For custom content though you can have your modules get it content any way you want: different databases, web services, etc.  Where I work full time we have a module that uses a web service, and it works like a champ.
