Dnn 4.9.x, with the latest version of Announcements, and i have mp3 files allowed to be uploaded tothe site, but the Announcements module will not "see" mp3 files which are in the local DNN directories, and will not upload them. What do i have to do to get mp3 files able to upload ?

The list of allowable files can be modified by using the Host account, and navigating to the Host Settings.  Then, under the area 'Advanced Settings', 'Other Settings', you will see the 'Allowable File Extensions:'.  Just add mp3 to the filetypes listed and you should be good to go.
