I'm at the 2011 Ann Arbor Give Camp working on a web site for charity and need some help.

We're looking for a way to have a summary of the announcements on the side of the main page, and the complete list on the full size News Page.

Is there a way to limit the number of announcements just on the main page to something like 3 or 5, instead of setting a time span limit?

Thanks in advance

You can use the rss feed of the announcement module and use the rss module to show the latets 10 (or whatelse) items of the announcements
