Hello Everyone,

I have setup an RSS Feed from the Announcements module, the RSS feeds a News Feed module contained in a different area of the site.  Very recently, my client started seeing the following line appear in the News Feed:

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-st...

At first, I thought that there might be something wrong with the New Feed module, but when looking into the issue - the RSS feed actually contains the information that is was being displayed.  I have tried clearing out the cache on the server, putting another instance of the announcements module and rebuilding the RSS feed.  At first, it seemed to work but the similar line reappeared again.

This is very strange to me, and I can not seem to find out how this line is getting fed into the RSS feed.

Has anyone else encountered this before?  I am out of ideas and could use some insight if possible...

Thank you for your time and diligence.

-Shane

This is "content" that is put into the announcement module, likely being copied from MS Word. It looks like the announcement module isn't scrubbing HTML properly when being added to the DNN Search functionality, which also populates the RSS feeds
