Hi All,

I am using the DNN 4.3x. In my web site I have added Announcement module and added some announcements! In each announcements I have set the option 'Open in a new window' check box. When ever the user clicks on the 'read more' the announcement is opening in new window. But, the new window dispalys all the menu's and other pane etc. I don't want those items to be displayed in new window. How to hide them?

Please any help me out.

Thanks!

Sree Harshavardhana.

The announcements version that is part of dnn 4.3.0 and 4.3.1 links to itself when selecting no url.. do you mean that? it will open a new page that is just a link to itself. You cannot hide other controls on the page, nor select just one announcement like this. If you are linking to another page, and want to open that in a new page, with just that module, just use 1 module on the page,

cheers,

Erik

I'm affraid thats not possible... DNN Always loads the complete skin when showing even one module in a page (or no modules at all for that matter). The only way you can work around this is to create a completely empty skin with just one contentpane (skins need at lease one contentpane).

HTH
