I know postnuke does this from what I've seen.  Is there a way for users to post comments on announcements?  Maybe integrate the announcement module with the forum module?  Anyone have any suggestions on how to do this if even possible?

hmm... commenting on announcements.. that would almost seem like a blog right? Did you try the blog module to do what you want?

Anyhow, it might be an interesting feature to think about....

They are similar, though the blog puts like 5 or 6 different modules on the page that I don't want on there.  But I guess I can just delete them.

Hmmm.... delete a few containers and spend a few minutes configuring a module OR ask someone to code a new feature (that already exists somewhere else) that could take many hours and who knows how long to test and release.....

I think I know which one I would pick.

Okay, so where does this exist somewhere else?  May want to provide the location of  where you got your info, instead of baggering my question for no reason.
