I started trying to use the FCKeditor and having some strange issues.

DotNetNuke Version: 04.03.04

When I click on 'show custom editor options' I cannot read any of the settings to be able to link to skin.css, change any options etc...

Small pic of what I am seeing is located here: http://subaviators.redearthsystems.com/FckEditorScreenShot.gif

Need some assistance ASAP.

Thanks,
Chas

I recommend to upgrade first to DNN 4.3.7 or 4.4.0 due to security issues of the version you use and of changes in the htmleditor provider. I recommend also to upgrade to latest version of FCKEditor provider (1.0.7)

Well, I verified the version of the FCKeditor was 1.0.7 (just downloaded it from this site last night.) and I installed the same FCKeditor version on a different site that I have DNN version 4.04.00 installed and I am seeing the exact same behavior.

One thing that is common on these two websites is the skin.css "Normal" font color is white.  I am wondering if the custom editor options is pulling the font color from the 'normal' style and it also has a white background?

Thanks,
Chas

That is what it was...I changed the font color for testing purposes from white to black and I was able to read the text in the custom options window.

Now I just need to read around on here and see how to get the skins.css styles available to the end user in the editor area.

Thanks,
Chas
