Hi:

We have an installation of the fckeditor provider (1.007 ... the latest one, that is), that can no longer browse for flash files when we click on the flash button on the toolbar. When we click, the popup window appears, then if we click on the "browse server" button, we get a page with the following error listed:

A critical error has occurred.
Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow.

The browse for images still works.

The log is below:

Any hints? My performance settings on the portal are:

  • Page State Persistence:  Page
  • Module Caching Method:  Disk
  • Performance Setting: Moderate Caching
  • Authenticated Cacheability: NoCache
  • Compression Setting: No Compression
  • Compression Level (Deflate):  None
  • Use Whitespace Filter: Unchecked

Any hints would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Larry

Well, I think I stumbled upon the issue. A user had uploaded a FLASH source file (fla extension) to the root of the portal. When I removed/deleted this file, I was able to browse the server for Flash files.

Is there a way to prevent this from happening again? Could I exclude the "fla" files from being uploaded?

Thanks!

Larry

Yes, you can filter your flash file by editing the variable:

FlashAllowedFileTypes="fla,swf"

at your web.config (FCKeditor section)
