HI there. Please can you help me out with the following error :

A critical error has occurred.
The specified path, file name, or both are too long. The fully qualified file name must be less than 260 characters, and the directory name must be less than 248 characters.

This happends when I try to create a link on dnn4.4.1 from the free text/html editor. I wish to know if there is by any chance a compatable version of FCKeditor for dnn 4.4.1 in order to tackle this problem and edit links with this editor instead. I've been trying to install FCK editor but unsuccesfully. Is there any related material to install it for 4.4.1. ? Hope to hear from somebody ;)

Hi Locopon.

Thanks for replying me. The problem is still active. I cannot insert any links on my editor since it displays me that error.

Another thing which frustrates me is that if I try to install FCKeditor only one dll file appears in the bin folder of the html editorprovider. I am really getting a bit frustrated also since I've been trying to install Radeditor but unsuccesfully and FCKeditor aswell since it displays me the following error

- Please Help me out e  this is slowing my site development . Thanks in advance

If the message appears when uncompressing the files, then you have problems with your unzip software. Try using an updated version of your winzip, winrar or whatever software you are using to manage zip files. A good workaround with most zip managers is to copy the zip file to a root folder in your disk (i.e. C:\) and then extract to the same root folder
