I am running DNN 4.5.1 that was upgraded from 4.5.  It is a new-ish install pretty much out of the box.  I am new to DNN and so the only changes I have made to my config is the CSS sheets.

I am using the FCKProvider that is used in the Help module to write tutorials.  I did not post in that forum because I think that this is a provider error and not a module error.  I wanted to add a GIF image to the body of a tutorial.  I used the browse server button to find the image and clicked on it.  The preview window shows boiler plate copy (Lorem ipsum dolor sit...) in it and no image.  If I try and select a JPG image, it works fine.  The issue is not browser specific because I tried with IE 6 and FireFox 2.

Any ideas?

did you make the necessary changes to web.config, when upgrading from 4.5.0 to 4.5.1? the location of the fckeditor has moved and a number of parameters in the fckeditor section needs to be adjusted!

Thanks leupold.  I found that this was incorrect

ImageAllowedFileTypes="png,bmp,jpg"

gif was not in the list.  Not sure why.  I added it and it works like a champ now.
