So, then why were you talking about development when you stated "but surely it can't be a huge task to make the file manager show thumbnails?", the you are talking about development. Also, all this thread is talking about new features. If that is not development then I don't know what it is.

I think you are reading all posts in these forums, so you will see that I answered the same question many times. So I don't think that the way you are posting here is the the best way (I felt attacked). I am upset... yes, and that i because many people know that I work hard here in my free time, I don't make money from DNN because it is not my business (I sell some source code to pay the website only) but I till work a lot for DNN

I really will not "applaud" any post that tried to make us to work like we have some kind of obligation. I answer hundreds of posts daily and at the same time do a lot a free programming for this community. If you feel that it is not sufficient for you, you can still use other solutions because the great thing of DNN is that you can do that. Be sure I will respond to posts in the same way they are posted. I always try to answer most of post about things I am in charge of.

I am more aware than most in here of how much work you have done for the community and I am also one of you most ardent supporters. You may note that I authored, among many more, the first three posts in your own forum and have done my part in providing feedback ever since.

I have been a major champion (promoter) of your work with the FCK providor since I first started using it a couple of years ago. People in the core team were not open to it then and it took a lot of posts in many threads to ensure that people became aware of it. I wrote again and again that it should be part of the core and few people were more pleased than I when you became a core member.

Now you are project leader and have been charged with "reviewing the DNN framework editor functionality", you have a much broader role and greater responsibilities. Any DNN editor strategy will go far beyond the basic FCK provider and being team leader, you're the one who has to listen to twits like me and take it in.

No one is attacking you and no one is trying to squeeze free work out of you, whilst I understand and am sorry that you felt attacked, it is simply not the intention here. I am only discussing DNN editor functionality and strategy.
