Hi

One of our (and probably your) requirements for sending HTML mails is to edit and send a full page, <html>, <body> tags etc.. This means that you can remove borders, add backgrounds and generally make you mailshots look the biz in your newsletter or custom mailshot module. Now that FCK is the default editor for DNN this control is used to create the email content for posting.

However when you add these tags, FCK takes them out again just by switching between source and design view. I tried setting the Fullpage param to "true" in the fckconfig.js but this did nothing interesting, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Come on folks - there must be someone out there who knows about FCK and full page editing?

are you using a custom module?. You can tell your module to include the necessary headers and footers.

Hi

Yes, i'm using a custom module that uses the standard FCK editor to edit the email content, there is no ability to add headers or footers in the module. If there were headers or footers there they would also be edited using the FCK editor and therefore the code would also helpfully be re-written too!

Does this mean that the "fullpage" setting that is included in the FCK config file is not implemented in DNN?

What am I missing here?
