I changed skins yesterday and, as best I know, I made no changes except the skin change - but the editor got messed  up.

1.    Existing text that had double space between paragraphs was all reduced to single space between paragraphs … even though in the editor it continued to show double space.

2.    And, on inputting new text in the editor, the <Enter> put in a double line space, but showed up outside of the editor as a single line space.

The html 'Source' is
<p>text text text</p>
<p>text text text</p>

<p>text text text</p>

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

As you may know, each skin includes .css and those css styles are changing the way that html is shown at your site.

FCKeditor uses P tag as default for enter so you can manage paragraphs is a powerful way.

You need to find how your css are changing your P tag.

Also, you have the option to use BR as an alternative for ENTER in the editor. You must check that configuration in the fckconfig.js file in the /custom folder

Note: You need to refresh you browser cache after any modification to the ckconfig.js file

Hope it helps
