I want to apply a custom class to images in a text/html module.

In the image proerties dialog of the FCKeditor is an advanced tab which has fields for 'stylesheet classes', 'styles' and 'advisory title'.

How do I use these? Am I in the right place to apply a custom style to an image?

The style I want to apply is in the skin.css file inside my selected skins folder.

regards

Mark Boyle

Yes, you are right. It is the right place to use custom styles. The style must be included in the normal page where the editor was called.

I am still not sure what you mean.

The images will be on every page of the site. Do you mean the default.css file in the portals folder of my installation?

Also what do I put in the fields 'stylesheet classes', 'styles' and 'advisory title'?
Do I need to enter something in each field?
Do I put the class name in the 'styles' field or the
'stylesheet classes' field?

Each page loads a set of .css files: Default.css, skin.css, container.css, module .css, portal.css

You style must be included in one of those files to be applied to the image.

You can apply the style name to your image, but if this style does not exist at any .css file (or inline), the style will be not found and not applied.

Thanks for the quick response.

I have it sorted out now.
