Hi Guys is there a quick way to edit the webconfig without messing up the whole portal?

i want to change the editor but when i tried on desktop first it completely fell over

where do i make the changes?

Which version of DNN are you using?

I made the switch as part of the upgrade to 4.5 (As FCK is the default for 4.5)

I'm not sure what your problems are but I have changed sveral sites from FTB to FCK and had no problems.

As long as you follow the install text that comes with FCK...

Thanks for getting back, i'm using 4.5.05 but it looks like i'm running an old version of the web.config file for one of the pervious versions
i'm going to have to track down where the changes need to be made, before i can proceed

now need to track down the changes and get back to you after changes made
