I upgraded my DNN-based site from 4.7.0 to 4.9.0. Then, I notice that working with FCKEditor seems to be slower. For example, it took several seconds to display text that I typed. Moreover, it was quite slow if I pasted paragraph that was copied somewhere. Have you faced this issue?

DNN 4.9.0 includes an upgraded version of FCKEditor. FCKEditor itself is an external component, for discussion of its feature, please goto www.fckeditor.net

One thing that could be giving you the idea of a slower component is the dynamic style generation. Please try disabling by changing it to static and verify you editor's speed.

Also, are you seeing this slower behavior here at dotnetnuke.com?  I am not seeing that.
