Is there a way to make it to where using the Insert/Edit link option will use the full path to a file rather than the relative path when typing up a newsletter? By default, all links to files that you put in a newsletter will be broken when someone clicks on the link because the HTML source HREF attribute is a relative path.

This isn't a big deal for me, but I need to turn this function over to someone who isn't technically savvy and the less time he has to spend in HTML source the better.

Well it may not be the most glamourus solution (I am not much of a coder) but I modified a line in the fck_link.js

Created a varient called sBaseHref and set it to my website ("http://www.mydomain.com")

Lines 801-806

function SetUrl( url )
{
    GetE('txtUrl').value = url ;
    OnUrlChange() ;
    dialog.SetSelectedTab( 'Info' ) ;
}

Changed 803 to read

GetE('txtUrl').value = sBaseHref+url ;

It works... I have no idea if I have broken anything yet.. still playing around with it..
