When using the FCKeditor in IE, some of the popups (i.e. to insert a link, the advanced editor options) are not displayed properly:

  • Advanced editor options: The actual settings (between "Settings type" at the top and "Apply custom settings to" at the bottom) seem to be realized as an iFrame, as I can scroll that area with the mousewheel. Anyways, a scrollbar is not displayed, which confuses user, who wonder why some parts are cut away when more items are expanded (see screenshot below).
  • Insert hyperlink: In IE, the "OK" and "Cancel" buttons are not displayed. Instead, there are two scrollbars displays, but scrolling the windows does not show any buttons neither. Furthermore, the window seems to be broken, as some parts are transparent so you can see the background of the window below shining through. After clicking some of the tabs of the window ("advanced" etc.) and back, the window is destroyed more and more, getting more transparent areas, getting bigger, somewhen showing the "OK and "Cancel" buttons in the upper right corner while not displaying the "Link" text anymore etc.

Hi, have you had any success in fixing this issue. I also have this issue after doing a brand new installation of 05.00.00.

Hi just an update, I have resolved this issue by upgrading to the next release 05.00.01, this has fixed the OK and Cancel buttons from not being displayed.

I don't know if it is resolved in the new 2.6.4 release but it might be http://www.fckeditor.net/whatsnew  I'll check it out shortly.

please be aware, that there are 2 different issues - one of FCKEditor and one of the DNN Editor provider. Anything DNN related inclucing URL control, Image gallery and advanced settings is provider specific, all other popups are part of FCKEditor.
