Help!  I don't know if this is a DNN 5 issue or an FCK on DNN 5 issue.

WHen an admin user goes to insert an image and is browsing the folders - some of the folders do not appear!

BUT - when using FileManager - you can see the folders with images in them.  And the permissions are locked for Admin on Read & Write and Enabled for All Users on Read.   I've tried the folder Refresh by the Tree Menu --- I've even used the other "Refresh" and check "Recursive"  and the same thing happens.

I've cleared cache - but this happens with all users.

Now the HOST user can use FCK insert image and browse and see those folders fine - which makes this so odd!

Note: most of the images & folders werer FTP'd up - but are still visible and accessible through FCK.

Please Help!

I feel vindicated I'm not the only one!!  Although that's not great.  I logged the issue in gemini --- originally it couldn't be reproduced - last I saw I think is was a duplicate.  At anyrate --- the best and fastest fix is to simply down-grade ASAP.  DNN 5.0.xxx isn't stable yet for production use - I got too antsy in the move to 5.0.x myself.

Unfortunately - You will not be able to export the whole site in one fail swoop.  You will have to go page by page and export (top left - of the control panel) the page.  It may take a day+ to export and set up a DNN 4.9.x version to import all your pages --- but it's WORTH IT.  You'll be up and running fine in a day or two - versus waiting a day/week/month(s) before a production level DNN 5.0.x is ready.

Some great features in DNN 5.x coming -- and I'm excited -- but it's best to wait it out.

Not the best news - but I hope it's helpful!!

I assume, there are permission records missing for the folders. I suggest to grant permission for those folders to another group explicitly, save and and remove the permission. now check, whether the folder is present in FCKEditor. if yes. please log the issue in public tracker (2nd from top) at support.dotnetnuke.com). Are you using latest beta of DNN 5.1.0 ?

I am also having the same issue, the Portal Root/Images folder isn't showing up.  We are running DNN version 5.1.4.  I've even gone as far as looking in the database to verify that the folder has permissions.  Has there been any progress on this issue?
