Links

We are in the process of inserting links on over 1500 pages of a new website, and using the links other with tracking, etc.. unticked, and its putting in the value that is used within the TabPath. The problem is if a page name changes, this will change the link, but will not change the link within the HTML/Text module.

What is the best solution, as we don't want to start having to go through the whole site again to convert the links to tabids, as this is not very user friendly!

Thanks

This is a risk with the way that friendly URL's work. My personal recommendation is actually two fold. 1.) Use UrlMaster to handle your friendly URL's 2.) When renaming pages, use URL Master to do a 301 redirect from the old name to the new one. Following this approach you will keep the easy functionality of the linking, as well as keeping everything updated and not showing users ugly urls.
