I have downloaded the latest version of FCKeditor (01.00.06) and followed the installation instructions as directed by the included text file. Now I get an error when I click to edit the text/html module. The error is:

The page cannot be found

The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

Please try the following:

  • If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly.
  • Open the localhost home page, and then look for links to the information you want.
  • Click the Back button to try another link.

Technical Information (for support personnel)

I have opened the web.config file and replaced the default htmlEditor coding with the new htmlEditor coding from the text file that is included with FCKeditor. I have tried several times double-checking my steps as per the instructions, but I still get the error. Has this happened to anyone or does anyone know how I could fix this? Thanks in advance!

I am using DotNetNuke version 4.0.3 and FCKEditor version 01.00.06

Best Regards,

Gabriel

I fixed my own issue. I downloaded "FckHtmlEditorProvider_01.00.06_Install_UnzipThis.zip" from a different source off the sourceforge.net download site. The first source I picked was Virginia. The second time I downloaded the zip file I chose Phoenix, AR and proceeded with following the instructions in the zip file. I did everything exactly the same as I did with the first zipped package, except this time it worked. I can't figure out what the problems was but after downloading the zipped file from a different source it worked. I am not claiming anything wrong here, but I'm just posting what I did for it to work. Thanks anyways.
