Hi,

The version of DNN is 4.3.6.

I copied the bin and providers directory to the root of dnn with a ftp program  to my server.
The root of my DNN directory looks like.

- /database
- /logs
- /bin
- /providers
- /public htm
-weblog
-"some more files"

After this I replaced the content in the section of ftbeditor from the weblog file. and replaced it with the content of  install.txt
The editor does not work.

Please can somebody help me out with this problem.?
Are the files in the right place?
When I tried to upload the file with the file manager of DNN, "I got a time out".

This is not a module that can be uploaded with the filemanager, It can only be installed manually.
The directory structure for the provider files is

Providers/
     HtmlEdtiorProviders/
          FCKHtmlEditorProvider
There are several folders and files in this directory which are the actual provider code files.

The changes shown in the install.txt refer to the web.config file not he weblog file. Don't replace the FTB section, just add the FCKEditor section and in the line:

<htmlEditor defaultProvider="FTBHtmlEditorProvider"> change the FTBHtmlEditorProvider to FCKHtmlEditorProvider.

Tanks for the answer.
I installed it and it works fine.
It is a "great"  editor.

With regards, Ton Hermes
