After a recent upgrade from DNN 4.0.3 to 4.3.6 I noticed that the editor was not being very cooperative.  I would change Font sizes for WYSIWYG and when I updated the text it was always different.

I just realized that I had updated to the FCK editor many months ago but it did not seem to get automatically updated like the rest of the DNN modules. 

Is this how it works?

Will I always have to reinstall FCK after every DNN upgrade?

I had made several custom configuration changes, most just to get the editor window large enough to use. Is there a better way to convert or upgrade?

Since there is not really an Install but instead instructions to copy Bin and Providers and then update the web config I just followed the instructions.  However first I renamed the  old Provider folder to "FckhtmlEditorProviderOLD" and the same for the dll.

I updated the web.config and then tried to open the portal and got a fatal error.

I restored the backed up Web.config but I still can't the the app back working.

I did not remove teh Ctb3HtmlEditorProvider folder.

I did backup the web.config and then restored it.  What could be going on?
