These different address formats that exist in other countries are problematic when setting up a website registration form. There needs to be a global registration format that all of us can use to register users correctly from other countries. Most countries besides the United States of America don't have all three: city, state and zip fields in the address which leads to incorrectly geocoded addresses in the map module.

When international users register on my website they always enter the wrong information in the address fields which causes the Map module to only import less than half of the users that actually are registered on my website. You can read more on this topic here.

This continues to be a major issue of mine because I really want to have the user import feature working smoothly but can't figure out how to register both domestic and international visitors on my website. Does the DNN default registration form take into consideration the many different formats of addresses that exist in the world?

I would really like to know how the Map module's user import feature ties together with the DNN user registration form with the user profile required at registration. What fields are required and in what order?

You could use a module like Dynamic Registration from DataSprings to provide different registration formats to people from different countries.  (Configuring it could be long and tortuous, though!)

I brought this up so we can come up with a DNN registration form that can register users from different countries and at the same time have the Map module running smoothly so the importing users feature doesn't stop working. What address fields are required and in what order should they be in so users from all over the world don't enter the wrong information in the registration form?
