I changed the portal domain, and now when accessing the maps:

1. Displays pop-up stating get new api key.

2. Click edit with superuser account - Displays pop-up stating get new api key.

just one vicious circle.

Tried editing the Settings table directly for the table Map_Maps, but will not allow because binary data would be truncated.

Is there any quick fix to this?

So:

Process to fix is:

Export content

Edit the xml file you exported.

Delete your domain / google api key (or substitute the new one - but figured deleting is better so I can rebuild the maps on other sites).

Save

Import

and if you are on DNN 5 enjoy the fact you still can not use the maps module

This really needs to get fixed :)
