Hi,

We'll need a lot more information before anyone can help you with this François. Can you please answer these questions:

  1. What is your Data Source set to? (i.e. Users Online, Standard Data Points or Custom Query)
  2. If Custom Query, is your data local on your DNN Database, or stored remotely on another database?
  3. How many entries are you expecting to see on the map?
  4. Have you entered an Icon value other than 0 (zero) for your Map Points? If you have, do you have a corresponding Icon/Marker with this number on the Interface tab?

Can you start by answering these questions first and we'll see if it's anything obvious from your answers.

Regards, Sean

http://www.tx154.com/Map/tabid/748/Default.aspx

I am getting the same thing.

Data Source set to Standard Data Points

1 entry expected

Icon value = 0

Default Zoom level is being ignored as well. The default zoom is set to 15. The controls work and will zoom into the right area, but I get a general hemisphere view instead at map initialize.

TIA,
Chris

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the URL, always helps to see the behaviour up close!

Firstly, when you say the Default Zoom level, am I right in assuming you have set the level at 15 on the Interface control panel? If so, the scale is the other way round, with 1 being the tightest zoom level and 16 being the widest. So, try setting to 1 first and see if this is better for you.

As for the Data Point itself, can you please click on the Edit pencil next to your entry in the Data control panel and write down all of the the values that you have for your single entry. I will take a look and see if there is anything missing.

Also, can you confirm you have no entries/icons showing in the Markers list on the Interface control panel.

Sean
