Hi,

I've just setup the map module and works great. The only thing i can't setup properly is the way i want it to look with an additional image next to it (Click Here). I would added the <IMG> tag in the item template section however it keeps on adding the image to the right of the Google Map but below. I'm trying to get it inline adjacent directly to the right.

Any ideas anyone??

Thanks.

dom

Hi Dom,

My first reaction would be to ask if your skin allows for a 3 column configuration? You have a Left Pane by the looks of it for your links to other pages of your site. Do you have a corresponding Right Pane?

The default DNN skin has several Pane layouts, including a Left Pane ¦ Content Pane ¦ Right Pane arrangement. I see you are using a different skin to this, but if your skin allows for it, just put the Map Module in the Content Pane and the image in the Right Pane and you should get what you need.

If however, you only have a Left Pane and Right Pane, then that's a little more tricky and I wouldn't know how to fit another module alongside it. Although, I'm sure there are more experienced people who may be able to suggest alternatives.

Could you just explain where the "item template section" you refer to is? It might help myself and others understand exactly where you're trying to place the IMG tag.

Regards, Sean

Ah, the power of the internet

I think I've found a blog post that should help you to align the picture next to the map. If you have the three pane layout mentioned in my last post, then this would definitely be the way to go.

If not, check out the blog post by John Mitchell here. This should allow you to place two modules side-by-side in the same Pane.

Hope this helps!

Sean
