I have managed to configure a Reports module to access a simple report on the local instance, but am receiving the following error:

An error has occurred during report processing. Cannot create a connection to data source 'dataSource1'. Login failed for user '(null)'. Reason: Not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection.

Afaik, there is no 'dataSource1' defined in either DNN or SSRS!  The module settings include my own username, password, & domain. I'm guessing the '(null)' is associated with ananymous access, but I do need to leave anonymous access enabled.

Any clues?

regards,

Ian

Hi Ian,

I got this working in the past on DNN 452 with the reports module 452. Have you made sure that the asp.net account (XP) or the vista equivalent account have access to the SSRS folder?

The access has to be given to be able to get a connection from DNN to SSRS.

I hope this helps.

Marc

Marc,

I have my .RDL file in a folder on the server, but I don't know how to upload it's datasource.  I tried in the Manage Addin/Install Datasource, but it doesn't like my .rds file I'm trying to upload.

Am I going about it all wrong?  I can access my reports folder on the ssrs server with no problem.

Any help would be much appreciated!

M@
