Hi, I have built a custom visualizer for Reports 4.5 and now wanted to convert it to Reports 5, etc. I have managed to install version 5 and get most of the stuff working but now I would like to step into the code and add parameters to my SQL query. I am unable to open the reports.vbproj file which comes with the reports 5 source download. I am using VS 2005 with SP1 and can build web application projects.

How is your development environment setup? Which DNN install did you use and how did you install the reports module source code?

Thanks for any advice

I am trying to update 5.0 with the export code I wrote for the previous version. I am having the same problem trying to open the project. I tried in VS 2005 and 2008.
Please share your dev environment setup. I didn't have any issues with the previous version in 2005.

Thanks,

Tom

I usually do my development in VS 2008 with IIS7. I'm not sure why it would be failing for you though, what are the specific errors you recieve?
