Can anyone please help me write a HTML Template. I am new to this and i need to know the basic syntax to write my own HTML Template.

OK i got the sytax from the other threads. when i try and upload my test.htm file it gives me an error

The File C:\Users\Amith\Documents\Visual Studio 2005\WebSites\test\Portals\0\test.htm Is A Restricted File Type. Valid File Types Include ( *. swf, *.jpg, *.jpeg, *.jpe, *.gif, *.bmp, *.png, *.doc, *.xls, *.ppt, *.pdf, *.txt, *.xml, *.xsl, *.css, *.zip ). Please Contact Your Hosting Provider If You Need To Upload A File Type Which Is Not Supported.

Hi Amith

you will have to login as Host.

then go to Host --> Host Settings.  In the "Other Settings" section just add ".html" to the list of extensions in the "File Upload Extensions" text box.
