Hi, I want to display an image from a database field, but when I use select InvoiceNo,Description,AnImage from DDInvoices as the SQL, I'm returned a string for the AnImage field. I think I need to use the HTML visualizer, but I don't know how to create one that would render these fields correctly. Also I would ideally like the image to be a thumbnail of the main image which when clicked on opens up a pop-up window with the main image in. Is this possible using the reports module or does anyone know of a thirdparty module that might do this. The image is stored as a varbinary(MAX) and is a JPEGImage.

Many Thanks,

Andy.

Unfortunately, the Reports module does not support rendering an image from a varbinary column.  The only way to render an image on a webpage is to pass a URL, and since the database is in the database, not on the file system, you'd need to write an HttpHandler to retrieve the image from the database (there are plenty of resources out there, just search for "asp.net dynamic image").
