Hi

I have searched and haven't been able to find the answer, but what I would like to do is have a SQL query in report module that uses the Like option with a URL parameter.

For example: SELECT * FROM Table WHERE Colmun LIKE @URL_letter % ORDER BY Colmun ASC

Normally the statement would be something like SELECT * FROM Table WHERE Colmun LIKE 'A%' ORDER BY Colmun ASC, but I need to use the URL Parameter instead of the letter.

Does anyone know how to do this??

Cheers Jason

Jason,

Tried several idea's to make this work with the reports -- was unsucessful.

However as an alternative - try SQLGridSelectedView.  This module will allow you to prompt for values to pass to the query string or allow you to pass via the query string.  The module is available at www.tressleworks.ca -- also examples at www.tressleworks.ca/samples   (had to remove links as a problem with new forums)

Hope this helps
Paul.
